The Club is delighted to announce the signing of Ruben Loftus-Cheek on loan from Chelsea.
The England international midfielder will remain at Fulham for the duration of the 2020/21 season.
Speaking after making the short switch across SW6, Loftus-Cheek said: “I’m really happy to come ‘next door,’ if you will!
“I watched Fulham at the start of the season and they looked like they’re playing decent football. With this Manager, I think I can get back to my best football. That’s the main thing for me, to find my form and help this team win games.”
Tony Khan said: “I’m thrilled to announce the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Fulham Football Club on loan from Chelsea FC.
“Ruben is a world-class player in the prime of his career, he has earned great experience in the Premier League, and we believe he will be so valuable to our club in our fight ahead of us. Come on Fulham!”

A technically gifted, box-to-box midfield player, Loftus-Cheek has been with the Blues since he was an Under-8.
He enjoyed plenty of success at youth level at Stamford Bridge, winning the UEFA Youth League, Under-21 Premier League and two FA Youth Cups, the second of which he was captain for as Chelsea saw off Fulham 7-6 across two legs.
Loftus-Cheek was given a senior debut later that year in a 3-1 Champions League win over Sporting Clube de Portugal.
A Premier League bow soon followed, and he appeared three times as Jose Mourinho’s side won the 2014/15 title. Loftus-Cheek was much more of a regular in the subsequent two campaigns, featuring 28 times, with Chelsea again claiming the title at the end of 2016/17.

A loan move with Crystal Palace beckoned the following season, with Loftus-Cheek making 25 appearances as Roy Hodgson’s side finished 11th.
His form in South-East London saw him win a first England cap in the winter, and he was later called up to Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad, making four appearances out in Russia.
2018/19 was the powerful midfielder’s most prolific year to date as his goal tally reached double figures, including a hat-trick in their 3-1 victory over BATE Borisov, one of their Europa League matches en route to winning the tournament.
