Fulham v Coventry City | Sunday 10th April 2022 | 3:00pm | Craven Cottage | #FULCOV

The opposition

  • Coventry looked as though they could be a team to look out for at the beginning of the season, after picking up a number of points that saw them ascend the table into the Play-Off Places.
  • However, since then, the Sky Blues have had a mixed bag of results, that sees them sitting firmly in the middle of the table and with their future in the Championship secured for yet another season.
  • The Coventry dangerman comes in the form of Viktor Gyökeres, who has helped out his side by providing 19 goal contributions in the league, scoring 14 and assisting five. At the other end of the pitch, Dominic Hyam has impressed throughout the season and will likely pose a challenge for our talented forward line.

Player insight

Tim Ream spoke to journalists earlier in the week, keeping a calm head as the season run in ramps up.

"We’re looking to wrap up promotion and that top spot as quickly as we can and that’s why we have been taking it one game at a time and not looking forward to when we can celebrate or tick that box off.

“That’s been the goal all year, from day one. I think that now it’s fully within our grasp, you see what the last two games – QPR and Middlesbrough- what it’s taken, guys putting it in from Mitro all the way back and from Marek all the way to the front.

“That’s been our number one goal from the first day that the manager came in.”
