Aleksandar Mitrović’s dramatic late header against Brentford has been overwhelmingly voted as Fulham’s Goal of the Month for August.
It had been a frustrating afternoon for Mitro, with visiting goalkeeper David Raya having the game of his life up to that point to keep him at bay.
But Mitrović and his teammates would not give up, and were rewarded as the game entered its 90th minute.
Kevin Mbabu sent a brilliant deep cross in towards the far post where Mitrović had latched onto Bryan Mbeumo.

There was no contest in the aerial battle, with Mitro bullying the makeshift Bees wing-back to plant his forehead on the ball, sending it back across goal, beyond Raya and into the corner of the net.
76.4 per cent of supporters felt it was the best goal we scored last month, with his first of the season against Liverpool coming second with 12.4 per cent.
It was a hat-trick of headers that made up the top three, with João Palhinha’s maiden Fulham goal claiming 10.1 per cent of the vote.
