The Club is delighted to announce that Under-21s winger Martial Godo has signed a new two-year deal, with a club option for a further year.
After a successful trial, the 20-year-old joined Fulham permanently from Margate back in March 2022 and enjoyed a positive first season at the club.
He made 28 appearances for the young Whites across all competitions, scoring six goals and gathering as many assists along the way. His efforts were rewarded with some First Team minutes in our Carabao Cup game against Crawley Town, which he impressed in after coming on as a substitute.
Martial recently played a few more senior minutes, coming on against Aston Villa in our second Premier League Summer Series friendly in America.
After signing, the youngster told FFCtv: "I'm really pleased to extend my stay at this historical, great club.
"This is just the beginning. I want to keep working hard and improving not only as a player, but also as a professional on and off the pitch."
On his time at the club since joining, he added: "I've loved it here. The coaches and players welcomed me in and allowed me to improve physically and mentally and I love waking up every day and doing something I love as my dream job."
Having already featured twice for the First Team, Martial spoke of his targets this season.
"My main goal is to keep getting better and work towards reaching my potential as I'm still very young. Obviously, I never forget the end goal which is to play on the pitch at Craven Cottage in front of all the fans and cement a place within the senior squad."
Head of Football Development Huw Jennings continued: "We're delighted because he's come onto the scene quite late and he brings with him a breath of fresh air.
"He's an exciting prospect and he knows he needs to keep working hard and make the most of the opportunities that come his way. He's been part of the first Team programme during pre-season which has given him an insight into the next level up and hopefully he can continue to progress."
