Fulham FC Foundation are delighted to publish their Annual Report for the 2022/23 season. The Annual Report is available here:
Last year, Fulham FC Foundation engaged with a massive 10,301 participants.
However, it’s not just about the number of people who get involved. We are committed to the mission of Building Better Lives through Sport. Through participant, parent/guardian, and partner feedback, we have captured within our Annual Report what it means to be engaged with the Foundation and the difference it makes to people in our local community.

As a result of attending our activities:
- 88% of participants reported their physical health had improved
- 85% felt their mental wellbeing had improved
- 93% stated they felt inspired and engaged
- 85% made new friends and social connections
- 89% felt their confidence and self-esteem improved
- 91% stated their skills and knowledge improved
In the 2022/23 season, Fulham FC Foundation continued to create, develop and promote opportunities for under-represented groups. Working with everyone across our local community is vital to us.

We engaged with 2,245 female participants in 2022/23, 542 more than in the 2021/22 season. We engaged with 1,549 disabled young people and adults in 2022/23, 490 more than in 2021/22. 49% of our participants in 2022/23 identified as from an ethnically diverse community. Our youngest participant was three, and our oldest was 92.
Engaging with young people and adults through football is only the start of the journey for so many of our participants. We are continually supporting pathways and progressions for all.
In the 2022/23 season, 48 young people and adults received and used a bursary to attend our activities. This equates to approximately 1,744 hours of free football activities. 98 of our participants were supported to transition to a secondary activity and 117 of our participants completed a formal education or training qualification.

We are incredibly grateful for the relationship we enjoy with Fulham FC. This continual collaboration creates a sense of belonging and inspires a lifelong love of sport for so many. In 2022/23 we distributed over 4,000 Fulham FC tickets to our community, we delivered over 1,500 hours of activities at Fulham FC’s Training Ground, and facilitated 109 inspiring Fulham FC player visits at our community activities.
We are proud of the contribution we have made to our local community, delivering on our mission of Building Better Lives through Sport, and are excited to continue the journey in 2023/24.

“Once again, loved taking part in this. The team that run it are nothing short of incredible and made my son feel at ease. My son is non-verbal and autistic, yet he didn’t want to leave. I have recommended this to many parents and careers of children with special needs. Once again, thank you.”
“My daughter is physically small and struggles with coordination, but the amazing kids and coaches at Fulham have given her a safe, fun, and challenging environment to develop. In particular, one of the coaches provided dedicated coaching and inspiration when she had a bad experience at school, related to her struggling with sport. Her session started with tears as she arrived and ended with huge smiles. She loves Thursday night training! THANK YOU!”
“More Than a Game Football is amazing and needs to continue as it is really adding value in a meaningful way to lives in our society, especially people with any kind of disability and particularly mental health issues. Fulham are so caring about others.”
