Ryan Sessegnon’s productive cameo has seen him named Man of the Match from Fulham’s narrow defeat by Arsenal.

His 77th minute introduction saw a change of shape as we looked for a way back into the contest, with the 24-year-old operating on the right wing.

It’s a position that Marco Silva has put Sessegnon in before, and he is looking more and more comfortable on that side, capping his performance with an assist for Rodrigo Muniz in stoppage time.

“Speaking for myself, I always want to come on and try to impact games,” Sess told FFCtv. “Try to bring energy and an attacking threat whenever I come on.

“We came here to try and win the game, so obviously we’re disappointed to come away with nothing. Second half was a little bit better, towards the end we were pushing really to get that equaliser, and we almost did.”

Despite playing just 13 minutes at the Emirates, Sessegnon was the firm choice amongst the Fulham Faithful as our best player, with 37.8 per cent of them giving him their vote.

Sander Berge came second with 12.6, ahead of goal scorer Muniz who took 10.5.
