Bio
Fulham’s first signing of the 2020 summer transfer window saw Antonee Robinson arrive from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee.
We saw off competition from a number of rival Premier League sides for Robinson’s signature, with the highly rated left-back agreeing a deal that keeps him at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2024.
An athletic, attacking full-back, Robinson was born in England but is a full United States international having qualified through his father.
Robinson came through the Everton academy but made his competitive league debut in the Championship with Bolton Wanderers, for whom he appeared 34 times in 2017/18.
Another year in England’s second tier followed on loan at Wigan, where his impressive displays prompted the Latics to make the deal permanent last summer.
Robinson took his performances to a new level in 2019/20, and was a star performer in the Wigan team that embarked on a run of 10 clean sheets from 11 games in the latter stages of the campaign. That form looked to have secured a famous escape from relegation, before matters off the field condemned them to the drop.
He made 28 Premier League appearances in his first season with Fulham, before playing a key role in our 2021/22 title winning campaign, with his form earning him a place in the EFL Team of the Year.
Robinson carried that form into the top flight as Fulham finished 10th, earning himself a new long-term contract in the process.
