Bio
Tyrese Francois can operate in a number of positions across the midfield. He hails from Australia and has captained the nation's Under-23 side, though he does hold dual British and Australian nationality
Francois' low centre of gravity makes him very comfortable on the ball, and he possesses excellent technical ability and skill. He has a lot of pace on and off the ball, and is very alert in and out of possession.
Francois was first involved with the seniors when he featured twice in friendlies against Southampton, impressing both times from the bench. He was one of several youth teamers who travelled to Murcia for a mid-season tour in 2018.
He made his First Team debut early on in the 2019/20 season in a Carabao Cup tie against the Saints at Craven Cottage.
He trained with the senior squad following the return to football in the summer of 2020 and later went on to make his Premier League debut, featuring in Fulham's final game of the 2020/21 season against Newcastle.
Francois was a regular in the Club's first pre-season under Marco Silva, which culminated in him setting up the winning goal in our final friendly ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, against Charlton Athletic.
After four appearances in our title-winning season, Francois spent the first half of 2022/23 on loan at HNK Gorica, scoring once in 12 matches out in Croatia.
