Charlie has been at the Club since all the way back to the Under-9s. Charlie's got great leadership qualities and is great at organising. 

At 6’2", he's good in the air and is a solid, old-fashioned defender, yet is comfortable on the ball and likes to look for longer passes. He looks up to Connor McAvoy and has tried to develop his passing similarly to how Connor has over the years.

He enjoyed an excellent first campaign after signing a scholarship deal, heavily impressing at Under-18s level. His progress both on and off the pitch led to him winning the Scholar of the Year Award for the 2021/22 season.

Charlie picked up plenty more Under-21s minutes in the 2022/23 campaign, making 23 appearances and scoring two goals in the process.
