Delano comes from a footballing background, with older brothers who have played Academy and Non-League football.

The 19-year-old is an athletic midfielder who looks to model his game on Yaya Toure and Kevin De Bruyne. Delano picked up an injury during the middle of the 2023/24 season, but he flourished towards the backend of the campaign.

Delano earned his first Jamaica cap in March 2023, featuring for the Reggae Boyz against Trinidad and Tobago.
