Ibane is a sizeable, strong centre half who possesses excellent physicality for his age. He signed a scholarship at the beginning of the 2019/20 season following an impressive season in the Under-16s.

He later went on to play a key part for the Under-18s in the 2019/20 campaign, with the side winning the title. He achieved this incredible feat again the next year and was instrumental under Steve Wigley.

Ibane has spent the last two seasons out on loan; firstly with Dutch side FC Den Bosch, before making 29 appearances for TSV Hartberg in Austria’s top flight. He is earning international recognition, with regular call-ups to Scotland Under-21s.
