Jay Williams was signed in the summer of 2019. The defender was highly sought after, with the Club beating off competition for the former Newport man. He also has International experience with Wales across multiple age groups.

His in-game experience has been hampered with the young defender struggling with injuries, but he slotted straight in after his return and helped our Under-18s to their second successive title.

The versatile defender, who can be implemented as a centre-back or right-back, made five appearances across the 2021/22 season, with another set of injuries hindering his gametime.

After recovering, the Welshman went on to feature 22 times last season and his incredible versatility had him play across the back line as well as in midfield.
